Beginning

Ch 4. Join with sl st into a ring.

Round 1:

9 sc

Round 2:

Work 2 hdc into each st. (18 hdc)

change yarn colour

Round 3:

Work *(1 sc, 1 tr, 1 sc) all into one st, sl st*. Contine from * around

change yarn colour

Round 4:

Work *1 sc into sc st from previous round, sl st into next st, Ch 12, sl st into same st, sc into next st*. Continue from * around (8- Ch 12 loops 8 sc)

FRONT PETALS

Round 5:

Ch 1, to make a petal *work 11 dc into one side of Ch 12 loop, Ch 3, 1 hdc around the 11th dc post    (this will give the petal nice point), work another 11 dc sts along the other side of Ch 12 loop, 1 sc  next st*. Continue from * around

Round 6:

Note: This round is worked behind the petals

1 sc into centre of petal from previous round, *Ch 3, 1 sc into the centre of next petal)*. Continue from * around (8 - Ch 3 spaces)

BACK PETALS

Round 7:

Ch 1, to make a petal *work 11 dc into one side of Ch 12 loop, Ch 3, 1 hdc around the 11th dc post, work another 11 dc sts along the other side of Ch 12 loop, 1 sc  next st*. Continue from * around.

Round 8:

Note: This round is worked behind the Front and Back petals

*1 sc behind the tip of the FRONT petal, Ch 3, sl st into the right side 8th dc of the BACK petal, Ch 5, sl st into the left side 4th dc of the same BACK petal*. Continue from * around. (16 - Ch 3 spaces,  8 - Ch 5 spaces)

Round 9:

Work  *3 tr into Ch 3 space, Ch 3, 3 tr into next Ch 3 space, 5 dc into next Ch 5 space,  2 dc into next Ch 3 space, 2 dc into next Ch 3 space, 5 dc into next Ch 5 space*. Continue from * around.

Round 10:

Note : This round is worked in back loops only

Work corner *(2 sc, Ch 2, 2 sc), 1 sc into each st across (19 sc across each side)*. Continue from * around.
