Continue from * around<< You say we're to end up with 24 hdc but starting with 16 stitches, if we do the pattern from *to* we would end up with either 32 hdc around, that's just doing 2 hdc in each stitch, nothing about the 1 single hdc you say to do before them...if we add that single one (making it 3 hdc in each stitch we would end up with 41 hdc around...afterall, you do say to do 1 hdc & 2 hdc in each stitch around!
